Before You Wish Upon a Plug Point…

Just so you know, there are some limits:

Structural layout cannot be changed too drastically 🧱
Ceiling works are a no-go.❌ This means the height stays (no chandelier dreams, sorry).
Walkways must stay clear. No clutter and DIY bookshelves for safety and accessibility(clear passage width of 1.2 meters). 🚶‍♀️
Pantry won’t be renovated, but we can explore the use of Staffroom 1 balcony
Need to fit 125 teachers across both staffrooms

We work on most projects as a team, so being close makes it easier to coordinate and stay on the same page.
Quick chats = quicker decisions. No need to schedule a meeting for every small thing — we can just talk it out.
Saves time — sharing ideas, updates, or documents happens naturally, without delays.
Helps everyone stay in the loop and learn from each other as things come up.
We motivate each other. Since we often deal with the same issues, it’s easier to support one another and come up with better solutions together.

It is more time saving and effective to sit together as a department. It also takes care of the well-being of staff, and boost morale of the department as a whole.

Privacy for ALL STAFF

Right now, all the staff try to "snatch" the seats with the most privacy. And lucky ones will have the private bungalows seats, while some staff sitting along busy walkways will have to make do with public seats.
