This all took place in her Paris Hotel room while she was in town for Paris Fashion Week. 
Unfortunately the masked gunmen are still at large, and while they didn't hurt Kim, they did make out with her 20-carat diamond ring, worth an estimated $4.9 million, as well as a jewellery box, worth an estimated $5.6 million.

According to the jewellery designer's Instagram page, this bling is D-Flawless and type 2A (the rarest and most valuable type of diamond and is less than 2 percent of the world’s diamonds are in that range).
