I find that many in my community are not fully aware of the environmental issues impacting our local area, making awareness on these issues (and their solutions) an important step in supporting sustainable management practises. I could perhaps organise an environmental education committee or conference in my local area, and invite local environmentalists and activists to speak on the many issues which are severely threatening our environment. However, spreading awareness on the solutions to these issues are just as important as spreading awareness on the issues themselves. These solutions can be individually implemented (e.g: recycling, reducing consumption) or implemented as a community (e.g:- bake sales, etc). To take this initiative further, I can even create a blog where people can have access to articles and interviews from certified environmentalists, scientists, and environmental campaigners on the state of our planet. I will handle the use of every resource very carefully (e.g; water, electricity) to ensure I don't waste anything. This is very important because resources are limited. Wasting them can cause problems for everyone. In Pakistan, many areas face electricity shortages and water scarcity. We should be responsible and grateful for what we have. We should turn off extra lights, fans, heaters, ACs, projectors and taps at home and school to save energy and water. Maintaining such habits will help us live sustainably in our community and beyond.

I would try to recycle and try to reduce throwing garbage on the streets and try to throw it into a bin. Like this people would start doing this in a community people will start doing it in other places in other parts of cities, and like this other people can also start doing this. This can have a big effect on a whole city if more and more people start actually throwing garbage inside a bin instead on the streets.
