This is a 12-metre stretch of the original ghetto wall. In 1983, a commemorative plaque was raised, which reads in Hebrew and Polish: “Here they lived, suffered and died at the hands of the German torturers. From here they began their final journey to the death camps.”
We visited Krakow in 2016 and explored the Jewish Quarter and other Jewish landmarks.

We asked one of the employees and he mentioned where the ancient Jewish Quarter was located. We found the "Synagogue Plaza" and "Carrer de Valencia" where Sephardies used to live. He also mentioned that they built their own ships to leave from Onda to Italy. We have to continue searching the historic references.  We visited the Plaza and found out it is being restored. Starý židovský hřbitov na Žižkov - Nodah BiYehudah. We were exploring several Jewish Cemeteries ands Synagogues when we discovered this old cemetery next to the Television Tower. It was a big contrast to see these ancinet tumbs next to a high technology communications tower that is also a piece of art.
