         <title>Invasion of Poland </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>September 1939- The German army broke through Polish forts along the boundary and went to Warsaw. Many refugees, including Jewish and non-Jewish inhabitants, left the region. However, following intense fire and airstrikes, the Germans conquered Warsaw within a month of their first attack. The Soviet military annexed a significant portion of eastern Poland right after, while the western part of the country remained under German control until 1945.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>December 1941- Pearl Harbor is an American military base that witnessed a catastrophic assault by Japanese troops. Hundreds of Japanese combat planes swooped down on the base, successfully demolishing or impairing almost 20 American naval vessels, comprising eight warships, and more than 300 aircraft. The attack resulted in the loss of over 2,400 American lives, including non-military personnel, and injured another 1,000 individuals.</div>]]></description>
