At the age of 19 I started working for the tobacco control initiative. Since then, I have helped lead campaigns that led to the adoption of 85% graphic health warnings and the highest GST rates on tobacco products. I have also produced a Pulitzer documentary on bidi rollers in India.

Hi! I am a Senior Research Program Coordinator and the South-East Asia Country Lead for the Institute for Global Tobacco Control. My role is to liaison and collaborate with the BI partners to work on projects in and outside the region, with most recent ones focusing on vendor licensing, standardized packaging for non-cigarette products, and smoke-free policies. I also support the JHSPH capacity building and leadership programs as a trainer/facilitator.
