I think that how creative kids will be for you as their teacher is going to stem from how inspired and encouraged and supported they feel doing so in your classroom space. This picture looks to me like someone very creative put it together with hopes of inspiring and fostering that creativity in their students. I love the flexible seating, I think the colorfulness is a good plus, I love that it looks like there are separate places devoted to different types or avenues of creative thinking in this space.

We study that style of character development in Animation class.I then ask the students to create a character of themselves as a South Park character.

Potter- Trinity ISD
Who Kidnapped the Principal project.

If you google the project, you will find numerous versions of this project. I usually modify it to fit my kids. I get the principal and other staff in on it. I create a crime scene and the kids have to analyze the scene and figure out what happened. Then they have to figure out how to rescue the principal. Our favorite part is when the kids then create their own kidnapping and crime. They have to work in small groups to figure out who was kidnapped, why, and create a detailed crime scene that will help us solve the crime without make it too easy.

I chose this picture because it shows just how creative people can be. The child drew pictures and created a model. If given the opportunity, students can achieve greatness. Children could be assigned to create a photo or photo booth. They could be as creative as they want and they could share it with their peers. I love images like these because it shows you just how creative kids can be.
