During the <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="mw-redirect" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanish_Colonial_Era_(Philippines)">Spanish colonial era</a>, the term was variously recorded as <em>Igolot</em>, <em>Ygolot</em>, and <em>Igorrote</em>, due to Spanish language in the Philippines.</p>]]></description>
