I do not believe so. I think that as long as you can mix both traditional instruction and technology, it will not take over. I fear that a teacher using only technology, especially in a science class, will make the students loose the interest and excitement of discovering something new or blowing up something in lab.

Yes and no. Traditional teaching methods are definitely at risk, but i believe that learning is still going to be as effective as always, if not more so. Much like everything else that has came and gone in the education field, it happens for a reason. Technology is clearly more effective and that's why it's taking over. If it didn't work well, it wouldn't be so popular.

I believe the use of technology can actually enhance traditional learning. Traditional learning is great but with this there is normally only one way to present a topic. With technology, you have access to many different ways to teach and learn. This helps students more in the long run because the material can be adjusted to them specifically.

I do believe that the stress of so much technology is taking away some of the beauty of traditional teaching. I think face to face interaction between students and teachers is very important, and the more technology that gets thrown into the classroom, the less face to face interactions we have.

I think it depends because some forms of technology can be a good thing because they help those who might have a learning disability, can not see very well, or can not hear very well. Technology helps these students feel more involved and are able to learn. At the same time I feel like it could be a risk because students can become distracted easily and do not want to pay attention. Technology can take away from the interaction with other students and feel like they are not able to do anything without technology.
-Makayla Wright

I do believe that at times traditional learning can be at risk because of the use of so much technology. I understand that trying to minimize the use of paper in your classroom or school is wonderful for the environment, but sometimes, students need this type of traditional learning. It is important that we still remember the students who learn best with pencil and paper.

I do not think so, because I like a mix of both of them, You can switch it up everyday. I think. I think they are both really important but technology is growing and we use less and less paper. I have heard that students are not learning cursive anymore, I wonder if that is because online signatures are a thing now. So maybe it does affect traditional teaching...

I do believe that technology is putting a risk on traditional learning. Students can get easily distracted from the use of technology, and use it to get on social media or play games. Most students pick up easier on pencil and paper because it helps their brains remember the information faster.
