For me - I need to backwards design. What do I want students to know and how do I know they got it? So looking at the essential question or standard and thinking about what they need to know - then coming up with 3-5 key questions for a good discussion verses a lecture.

I will focus on providing opportunities for student discourse virtually. The ability for students to engage and interact with each other in real time is something I feel that will allow my students to learn from each other and share what they know too. I love how they can go back to the discussions at anytime !
