My group and I made a compromise when designing our educational poster. We all wanted wanted different pictures but to compromise, we just picked a picture we all liked so that we didn't argue or fight over it.

Since the PBL my group compromised a lot because while we were in our group doing the BHM project. We wanted a lot of pictures of Aretha Franklin. But some of the pictures Aniya didn't want or, Mia, but we picked one that we all liked!

When we take the time to acknowledge our colleagues' emotions and support them in using SEL strategies, it can have a profound impact on our collaborative efforts. By actively listening and showing empathy, we create a safe and inclusive space where everyone feels valued and understood. This helps the well being of our colleagues but also helps them bring their best selves to the table, making positive contributions to the group.

Maiya Permaul An example for compromises in our group was the facts that we were going to put. For example, when we were looking for facts me and my group members would not argue but talk about what interesting fact we could put about our person.

Our group has made a few compromises during our PBL project. For example, for the pictures choice, I wanted the picture to be mostly on top of the poster. However, Laila wanted the picture to be mostly on the bottom of the page. So, to make everyone happy, we just put the picture in the middle of the poster.

When me and my partner didn’t like a picture but I did, we both decided on a picture to put instead of arguing over which one looks good and which that doesn’t.

We could show that we care about there emotion by seeing if they are being left out maybe if there voice isn't heard we can ask what there ideas is

Me and my group where changing the background color I wanted a bit of black so it will blend into the door be they wanted a lighter color so we met in the middle not to light but not to dark at the same time.

Me and my group worked collaboratively by listening each others and if don’t agree with some thing we work to find another choice. So none of us would would be upset but non of us would feel like if they are the boss of the group.

When working collaboratively one can acknowledge their colleagues' emotions and help them use SEL strategies by making sure that we all agree to liking a big decision made. Another strategy I use is having different options of the stuff that we like so we can all vote on one and be happy.

The time I compromised during this PBL, is when one of the group members wanted to make a space theme and someone else wanted a history aesthetic. Instead, we picked a nice calming green aesthetic because its our favorite color. This compromise help me successfully meet group goals by communicating collaboratively in a postive way without arguing or fighting over what theme/aesthetic they want.

What my group represents for working together and making agreement . For example if someone wants to type something in a question but if someone’s else wants to write it too in the same question one person could just do a little of writing and the other could also a little of writing on the same question to make it fair.
