         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Anatta Foundation is a non-governmental organisation that focusses on a better connection between people and nature to create more psychological well-being, to get more respect for nature and to work on a ‘sustainable mindset’. We are inspired by ideas from Positive Psychology and various nature based approaches.  <br><br></div><div>In this project we will be the main coordinator and we will have the lead in the development of Intellectual output 1 (theoretical framework about nature intelligence). We will bring in our experience and expertise about the relationship between nature connection and wellbeing. <br><br>We currently coordinate two more Erasmus+ strategic partnerships. <br>1. Pride of Place: an innovative school curriculum based on inquiry based learning, to (re-) connect young people with their rural areas. see more on www.prideofplace.eu<br>2. Positive Mental Health promotion: in this project we focus on how young people can build up their mental health resources to increase their wellbeing, happiness, functioning in life and more. you can read more about this project on www.positivementalhealth.eu<br><br>In the past we have organised many training courses for youth work professionals and youth programmes.          <description><![CDATA[<div>I am a Netherland born father, husband, researcher, manager, nature passionate, living in Italy.&nbsp;<br><br>What I find particularly inspiring is to explore how we live and deal with the natural world around and inside of us. Awareness of how we are part of nature is, i think, one of the most profound changes we can make to create a different world.&nbsp;<br><br>I am&nbsp; exited about this new project as I see that through connecting&nbsp; people with the natural world based on positive emotions (love, care, compassion, awe, inspiration) works better if we want to develop sustainable behaviour than instilling fear, guilt and shame. I think that this project will be of great value to young people and ourselves.&nbsp;<br><br>Besides working for the foundation I am also finishing up my PhD in environmental psychology at the Sapienza University of Rome, Italy.&nbsp;<br><br>At the moment I am in Scotland with my wife Laura and our two children, Noah and Nova. We are travelling with a motorhome but will go back to Italy within a few weeks.&nbsp;<br>We have brought our cat with us from Italy but we haven't seen her for a week and we are afraid that she has been taken by a sea eagle......&nbsp;<br><br>Exploring new places and meeting inspiring people is what I truly enjoy.&nbsp;<br><br>I am looking forward to meeting you all.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Since 2004 we work with young people with difficult socioeconomic backgrounds, with an aim to support them in finding their place in the world, developing needed competencies. Since 2013 we also focus on youth-workers, social workers, teacher and guides. We are teaching mainly through community and nature based methods, in cooperation with the Natural Spirit platform.          <description><![CDATA[<div>My background is in education of biology and sustainability, and I have gained experience in working with volunteers and young people in NGO and educational context. <br><br></div><div>I am amazed by nature and I feel strongly that people would benefit from reconnecting with nature in all aspects of life. <br><br></div><div>Besides working for IVN, I enjoy creating new things. Therefore in my free time you will find me making clothes, painting and growing plants on my balcony garden.          <description><![CDATA[<div>I was born in the centre of Amsterdam where I still live with my girl friend. As a child I read all the books on nature on my parents bookshelfs. The ones that fascinated me most where the ones about untouched, far away nature. During my study 'Forest and Nature Conservation' I had a strong urge to go far far far away, to prinstine virgin forests, and I did. I went to Panama and Tanzania, to see 'real' nature that I thought we had lost in the Netherlands. <br><br>Although I still find those ecosystems imensely beautiful and unique, I slowly realised during my 10 years of post-graduate life (as a university teacher), that nature in the Netherlands is at least as fascinating to me. And that it had everything to do with my own affection, attitude and perception of what happens around me.    <br><br>So a year ago I started at IVN to become project leader Youth. My mission is to help youngsters to see the bueaty and importance of our local nature. I am looking forward to meeting you all, and learn from each other how we can do this best!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>IVN Nature education is a non-governmental organisation that connects people and nature. We aim to let people of all ages experience how fun, healthy and important nature is. A true experience is an important aspect of our vision. We pursue this goal by organising nature activities, projects, campaigns and trainings.<br><br></div><div>We hope to raise consciousness about nature to achieve behavioural change towards nature.          <description><![CDATA[The Ambitia Institute is a non-governmental and non-profit organization founded in 2012. The main motivation of the institute is non-formal and lifelong learning. Our mission is (1) to support youth in personal, social and professional development, (2) to help youth supporters in personal and professional development, (3) to develop and transfer quality content, methods and tools to support young people and their supporters, (4) promotion of non-formal learning.

The Ambitia Institute directly addresses two target groups. One target group is young people, aged between 14 and 30. Everyone has a common desire for new knowledge and gaining new experience. We guide young people through our processes by developing a balance between social responsibility and personal development. Another immediate target group is adults, we call non-formal learning supporters. These are youth workers, coaches, educators, teachers, and other professionals who support youth learning in one way or another. We offer this group various contents, methodology, tools, and support that influence their personal and professional development, and thus have a long-term impact on the development of youth work and support for youth.

In recent years, we have focused primarily on studying, researching, and understanding certain topics, such as emotional intelligence and non-formal learning. We have been partners in two long-term strategic partnerships, some short-term trainings, and an intensive Training of Trainers (SALTO YOUTH) training program, which allows us to learn and research, as well as develop content, methodology and tools. The quality of the learning process and the use of knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as the personal and social changes that follow learning, are important to us.

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>ABOUT MARIO </strong><br>I was one of those bad students who teachers normally don't appreciate. The mountains of my hometown Tivoli have been my teachers. That's where I spent most of my childhood and where my connection with nature and people started  and was nurtured over the years. </div><div>I'm in the field of non formal education and experiential learning since 1989.  From 1998 to 2003 I was serving the  “Advisory Council”, the political body of the “Youth and Sport Directorate of the Council of Europe”, as vice president. During those years I developed an expertise in facilitating participation processes, community work, intercultural communication and learning, training for trainers in experiential learning, personal and group development. Since 2004 I'm erving Kamaleonte and its communit as president and I'm one of the founder members of the international academy of experiential education “Via Experientia”,</div><div>where I facilitates long-term training programmes for trainers and leaders on “How to facilitate groups and lead teams”. <br>My main strength as a facilitator and coach is the ability to<br>process individual growth and group dynamics through experiences and reflective practices. <br><br><strong>ABOUT ANGELICA</strong><br>Being raised between Africa and the Middel Easter countries, that's where I developed my deep love for nature and for diversity. That experience contributed in providing me with curiosity and an open minded perspective. <br>I'm a practitioner in the field of experiential learning and for quite some time I've been training and facilitating groups and individuals in their personal and professional growth and well-being. <br>Reflection and reflective practices are a core element in the learning processes I facilitate. I've been working in Kamaleonte for non formal school programs on the topics of authentic and inclusive leadership, multiple intelligences and emotional intelligence. I am  also one of the founding members of the international non formal network of “Via Experientia” and of ALP - activating leadership potential. I believe in the power and value of collective intelligence and I see the group as a source for learning.  I thinks that diversity is a value that enriches people and the context in which they live, learn and work. Otto Scharmer’s “Theory U” and Arawana Hayashi’s social presencing theatre are my source of inspiration and I'm more and more integrating their practices into my work . </div><div><br><br></div><div><br><br></div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>We are a non for profit organization active in the field of education since 2004. We promotes the growth and psycho-physical health of groups of students, young people, adults and educators through outdoor sports and experiential trainings (www.kamaleonte.org)  <br><br>There are 7 full time staff members among which there are psychologists, educators, administrators, trainers and facilitators and instructors. Kamaleonte also has about 40 part time staff members who work on demand during school camps and summer camps. <br><br>Our sport and outdoor activities, based on the experiential learning methodological approach, are mostly held in nature and are meant to involve participants at a physical, emotional and cognitive level. <br><br>During our activities we  focus particularly on reflection as a means to enhance participants’ self-awareness, which we consider to be a supporting element for being able to recognize one own’s behaviors, strengths and abilities. This increased awareness brings participants to feel more inner ready to respond adequately to the challenges of the present moment. <br><br>Most of our projects aim to develop competences and attitudes for promoting social inclusion, enhance the richness of diversity, support intercultural understanding, .<br>We consider the group to be a source for learning, because it provides a supportive safe environment for participants to stretch out of their comfort zone and explore new points of view, new understandings and in general new experiences, that enable each participant to learn and to grow both at a personal and group level. <br><br>We are also member of the informal Network “International Academy of Experiential Education” www.viaexperientia.net., that has been researching on Experiential Learning as an innovative and holistic methodology for developing transversal competences of adult trainers and educators. <br><br>We are very grateful to take part in this project as we wish to explore further the connection between nature and the inner world of individuals, as an important means to discover their nature in the nature for learning how to bring forward sustainable and respectful behaviours.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
