Another cause of racism here in the U.S. is white supremacy. White supremacy is when white humans believe that their own race is superior to all others. They believe that all other races are inferior and that they should be treated unfairly. The white supremacists believe that other races do not deserve any proper rights. Also there are racist organizations like the Ku Klux Klan promote racism. These organizations are called "Hate groups" These groups are extremely racist especially towards African Americans, especially since the Civil War. Not because of any law-breaking or any criminal offense. For example, in New York City, 80% of the people stopped by police were black. And 85% of the 80% were frisked, unlike any white person. As you know, there are plenty of sports around the U.S. But a lot of racism in the non-professional leagues. In this instance, Andrew Johnson a young African American teenager was in a wrestling match. The ref, being especially racist forced Andrew Johnson to make a choice. To cut off his dreadlocks or forfeit the match. The ref made this move out of pure racism. The ref just did this because Andrew Johnson had a different race than all the other wrestlers in the room. For instance, on the professional soccer club team, FC Barcelona there had been racism. The famous player Andres Iniesta had posted a picture online with him wearing blackface. This was racist and insensitive especially since Iniesta himself had been playing with black soccer players for a long time. Another event occurred on the Italian soccer team Napoli. On a night where the team had been playing against their rivals, racist chants began. These were directed towards the senegalese player Kalidou Koulibaly. The chants inlcuded "monkey impressions" and other racist noises. On Feburary 16th, 2018, the movie Black Panther was released. This movie by Marvel had an extremely positive effect here in the States, whereas in China, it did not. People were hating on the movie so much so that the movie picture had to been shown with the Black Panther fully covered and not showing any skin. Here the trailer cover was shown with the face of T'Challa showing. One organization is Black Lives Matter. This organization was founded on July 13th, 2013. The organization was created to stop violence and systemic racism towards black people. They campaign against racism and they have started a huge movement that has and will continue to help all black communities. Another organization is ANSWER. Another anti-violence and anti-racism group. ANSWER was founded just after the attacks of 9/11, on September 14, 2001. They partner with all activists who are against racism and who are against violence. The organization NPARC,  is the non-profit, anti-racism, coalition. The coalition was founded on July 1st, 2004. They want to end racism and they believe this issue calls everyone to take action.
