Disaster, extreme and thriller with a duration 136 minutes long, a movie that can make you shed a tears, furious over the character and you might feel wants to jump in the movie to be one of the characters. The duration a bit long but, I guarantee you will feels satisfied in the end of the movie. Pandora by the mean of Pandora box, a Korean movie that was adapted from a real story of Fukushima nuclear meltdown in 2011 and this movie was release on 7 December 2016. This movie was nominated in various award and get 6.6/10 stars in IMDb but, most of the viewer said this movie deserve more than 6 stars, it can get 8/10. You might wondering and feels a bit confused with the title, nuclear and Pandora box seems like there is no relation. It’s happen to me, I have the same thought but, that what makes this movie become more interesting. A movie that tells you about the development of country, humanity, love and friendship. It all in one movie. Perhaps after this you will start watching the movie.

The movie starts with a very peaceful village with the kids playing around the neighbourhood, the villagers that are engaged with their own business and daily life routine but, who knows because of one earthquakes, every things start to changed. The start of their thriller life, in order to save their own life, their family, friends and the love one. Jae Hyeok lives with his mother, sister in-law and a nephew. He dreams a better life for his small family. He tried to escape from working at the nuclear power plant but, he left with no choices as his mother and his girlfriend stopped him. The nuclear is the main source for their country, their life depend on it, and at the same time the nuclear also will bring harm to them.

The movie get worse as the government close their ears and eyes with all the protest that was made by some of the villager that are opposed with the nuclear project. In this movie we also can watch the egoistic of certain individual that bring harm to other people. A nuclear power plant that can cause many harmful things to the people, a great disaster. It needs something to make it stop and it needs somebody to stop it from explode. Someone who is brave enough to sacrifice and risk their life for other people safety. Like a Pandora box, once it open you will not able to control it same goes to the nuclear power plant. A small crack can bring a great disaster to the world. 

I greatly recommend this movie to you for the reason that it contains many significance point about life and love. A movie with a full of visual and disaster that able to catch people attention. The ability of the director to make it look so real with the emotion in each scene. Despite being too long, this movie definitely worth your time. I will not drop a spoiler here, I hope you will feel so anxious with this movie. Again, I hope you will watch this movie. Thank you.
