While last year we had 3-4 days that we lost due to having less than 75% attendance, this year we have had zero!

A student who was late (extended tardies) every day of 2nd semester (21 days), finally came on time! (So many parent contacts, student conversations, some detentions, etc...)

We had a in person parent meeting with a student’s parent and utilized some new procedures/plans, and the student went from having the highest %age of absences in the entire building, to being present every day since the meeting.

Principal started a month-long Attendance partnership where we have the opportunity to partner with some of our most tux/etux students. Seeing the mindset changes and responsibility of most students increase was amazing. They would initiate the attendance conversation wanting to know their numbers. While the majority decreased their tardies. One student when from a weekly average of over 20 down to 4!

99% of our kids finished the MSTEP and PSAT!! This is huge for us since we were dinged from the state for assessment participation. 👍

Students attendance improved in 3 buildings when we started transporting our homeless population .

The students who are consistently late, some disrespectful attitudes have been just as present. April brought about a change in the respect level. Two students, noticeably, speak every time they see me AND make sure I am seeing their improvement.
