I am here today to talk about a really important issue.
This is not an understatement, we must protect the Amazon rainforest at all costs. 
Most of the world doesn't understand yet the importance of this precious ecosystem and neither do you so let me show you its importance.

The Amazon rainforest is home to almost 70% of land animals and tropical plants. We need to understand that the rainforest is responsible for the regulation of the world's water cycle thanks to its trees that play an important part in it, grounding the water in their roots and releasing it into the atmosphere. 

Furthermore deforestation is directing climate change. By removing trees, you will strip the forest of portions of its canopy which are supposed to block the sun’s rays during the day and holds in heat at night. 
The same trees that are burning also play a critical role in absorbing the greenhouse gases that fuel global warming. Fewer forests means larger amounts of greenhouse gases entering the atmosphere which will result in increasing the speed and severity of global warming.
As you can see, the entire world is impacted by the burning of the Amazon because it increases the carbon emissions at a dangerous rate.

So please, Mr Bolsanaro, do not condemn our world, and save the Amazon rainforest.

- 12/03/2020 : I started to work on my poster. I made several posters and couldn't decide which one is the best. So I took two of them, and used the second one for my youtube video.

- 12/6/2020 : I recorded my speech with my laptop’s microphone. It took me an hour to record my speech.
- 12/10/2020 :  I uploaded my speech on youtube and copied the link on the Padlet.
