We observed that when we rub our ballon’s on our heads our hair will stand up and if put close to sticky notes we can observe that the stick note that is cut into small pieces is attracted to the ballon since it has a small electric energy attracting it.

1) When you rub the balloon and ruler to your hair and bring it close to the pieces of paper thpieces of paper will stick to the balloon.

2) When you rub the balloon to your hair it creates kinetic energy which attracts the pieces of paper to the balloon.

We observe that due to the friction between the balloon and the hair, the paper sticks to the balloon and the ruler due to electrostatic force

We believe that our observations have occurred since electrons can transfer through one material to another

the reason that the small bits of paper get attracted to the electrostatic force is that paper being a neutral material picks up on the electro static charge hence the paper is attracted and pulled towards said charge and this is what we observed after performing the experiment

1: The dollar bill and eraser didn’t conduct electricity, since the electrons weren’t able to flow in the circuit. while, the coin, pencil, and paper clip conducted electricity since the electron were able to flow in the circuit.
