My grandmas house has always been a place were my roots grow, I have spent most of my life with her and staying at her house. I always will say this was my escape place. She gave me reassurance and has really made me the person i am today. I take after her a lot, she is the one who taught me how to cook and how to clean. I always want to spend time with her because she makes me the happiest i am, and if i ever need anything she is always there.

Band has been more impactful to my life than I ever thought it would be. I do talk about it a lot but it’s amazing to me how much being in that room can impact me. During my time at the high school in band, I have made so many new friends that I believe will stick around for a long time. And I’ve learned so much from upperclassmen in my section. Being in that room makes me feel as if I have another family that is there to help and support me. So I will be forever grateful for my experiences and knowledge gained from being a part of that group.

My new house is different than my old one but i still have great memories from my old one. When i moved house from my old to new house i carried the memories i had and loved from my old house to my new one. I can think back to when i lived in that house and remember some good memories i had there.

A place that has changed me as an individual is the PAHS band room. I have spent every Friday night during football season in that room and the stadium. I have met some of my best friends during these games.after a game has ended we all come back to the band room and enjoy each other’s companie. This place has changed.

Every since I was little my dad would work a lot and my grandparents only lived 7 minutes away so they would often babysit us. At first it was just me and my brother and then later it became my sister too. My grandma was very hard headed and taught me to express my emotions well and my grandpa helped me have my own opinions. This helped shape me to the person I am today and is one of the reasons I am so opinionated.

Band and video games are what have helped me shaped who I am as a person. I have loved music ever since i was born and I was about it. Band has taught me so much and has taught me a few life lessons. It has taught me that even though something looks like you cant do it you can do it. Video games has also taught me a few lessons that have shaped me. I always loved playing football and when I do it feels great. If something is happening in my life I can just work it out by hitting harder in practice. I have met many of my friends playing football. It is my favorite thing to do and I play football a lot. Before and after games in the locker rooms was one of the best times during the season.

Being outside all weekend with no service has really influenced me to love the outdoors. My family, friends, and I have made so many fun memories while at camp . It’s one of my favorite places to be. Joining the marching band was super scary because i didn’t really know anyone, but after i did i made so many friends and i don’t know what I’d be like without them. Even sometimes if i felt like i cant do this anymore or i cant play this, i stayed and tried over and over so I wouldn’t let them down. It’s a lot better than my actual home if you know what i mean haha. Music has always really meant a lot to me so meeting these people who were the same just helped a lot.

School is a place that teaches you how to be in the world but less critically. School makes you better person and introduces social features to your life. It also introduces competitiveness same with peer pressure that makes you do things to become the best person you could be. School does kind of teach you things you will never use in your life but other things you will keep forever. For example how to read. I remember there was a time in my life where i said i will never learn how to read and now I do, or There is no way i will make it to Algebra 1 or high school and here I am. School has definitely impacted me on so many more things, and that is why personally, school has impacted me the most.

The place that has shaped me the most is the baseball field. I first started to play baseball when I was 5 years old. After a couple years of tee ball and getting the whole purpose of the game, I moved on to little league. Little league got me a little more serious into baseball as a whole. After 2 years of that, I moved onto Legion. Ever since then, baseball has been my life. Everything I do is baseball. In all my free time, I am either practicing or watching baseball. Every year, I will go to my grandma’s house about two weeks before Thanksgiving so that I can help her make all of the Thanksgiving food, because she always has a lot of family over and lots of mouths to feed. The high school band room has impacted my every day life. I spend hours a week practicing there. Soon I will be spending most of my Fridays in that room. That same room has got me attached to one of my favorite hobbies, playing music. I am currently studying three different instruments. It also introduced me to some of my closest friends. The Soccer Field and Discus Pit

Two places that have shaped are the soccer fields and the discus pits. I have done lots of sports in my time but my two favorite have been soccer and discus. While I play soccer I feel free, and when I’m at the other end of the field I have the opportunity to kick as hard as I can with no regrets. While in discus it takes more time and consideration, timing the throw, angles, and rotation speeds all in a split second. It’s exciting! The best part is coming to a stop and watching it fly. These places give me that feelings freedom and make me feel the breeze and all thing that surround me. These are the reasons I like these to places.
