For me , the digital citizenship element that is most important or relevant to me as a GEN Z would be Digital Etiquette. As we all know , more and more people are making their way to the digital age and advancements in technology. Having knowledge of digital etiquette or going as far as practicing these etiquette would create a space for creativity and respect in the digital age.

As a student , we would really encounter a lot of instances where we need to look for information. For example researching or when we are learning a new topic. We need information when researching or learning a new topic to have a broader understanding of what the topic is all about. Information helps us widen our scope of ideas being absorb by our mind and help us correlate and put things together.  Some concrete last that required searching information would be the making of our Science iInvestigatory Problem and case study. such instances need further research and more evidence that would help prove our point and create a reliable study.

There were some instances where i was directly corrected or i have corrected someone regarding fake news. For example about information about any online scandal and gossip. I would tend to dig deeper onto the problem and as people what they know and what is real. The correcting would be done in a respectful manner that would help make people realise of their mistake and be a better person. Correcting someone and being corrected would not really affect the relationship i have with anybody because we have a mutual agreement of knowing our boundaries and respecting one another.

I will further use this knowledge to encourage other to do what is right and to inspire people to take action. Having this knowledge would help me learn and understand more to be able to maximise my capabilities as an individual but also in helping others. Making a better community for all and for the betterment of the world.

To then apply my learning about intellectual property rights in all aspects in my everyday life especially as a student when researching or creating new things. i cold then help create awareness of the usage of intellectual property right that cold also benefit a lot of people. This could help people to effectively communicate without any issues or misunderstanding , making sure that all creative idea is respected and used appropriately.
