I have learnt there is a link between Leadership and Communication because the best leaders are able to effectively communicate their message in a encouraging uplifting authoritative way. However, communication is not just talking but also listening to the ideas of others to make the best decisions.

To be a good leader you must have good communication skills to begin with because you need to be able to get your message across and uplift the people you are leading and inspire them.

It does not always mean that by having good communication skills it will make them good a leader. For example a person might have great communication skills but not have any confidence to stand up in front of a group or lead and take responsibility for the group.
