Intro:

In recent years, increased extreme weather events that can be attributed in part to climate change have increased flooding events and impacts in North Carolina. Trees for the Triangle is a non-profit organization that has been working towards mitigating flood risk and damage by increasing tree populations in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina. To assist in their mission, we are researching and developing a series of maps and location suggestions that would most benefit from an increase in trees."
