The article is accurate on how it portrays the Hindu practices and how it compares modern science to old beliefs. Obviously, some of these old traditions are outdated and not practiced as widely anymore, such as child marriages. The caste system still exists in India, and many people still identify with a caste, but it's not as strictly enforced as it once was.
