The government each year chooses from each district 2 children that have to compete in the hunger games.  These kids each have to fight to their death until there is one winner.  Also not even that, they have to starve each day and find ways to live.

(May Contain spoilers) I think this book is awesome in many ways. Catniss has to fight many different people and make alliances with others. And parzival is on a jerny to become the creator/company owner of the game. The reason this misson he is doing happend was because the creator of the game died. So the creator left out keys/easter eggs with clues for the whole universe to fined.( The creator like the 80s alot so lots of the clues and fations are like 80s things.) This book is meant for teens because there are a lot of concepts in the book the younger people wouldn't understand. The concept of “Frontline” is that superheroes should have to register to the government or that superheroes shouldn't have to register to the government. Because all the superheroes can't come to a design they start to fight each other. This concept is really cool because there's a lot of character development and, you get to see awesome superheroes fight against each other.
