  • According to Crismundo (2022), the Unemployment rate last September was at 5% which was the lowest rate if it will be compared during the past years.

    • Since we are slowly going back to the normal, although it is through the new normal, there are a lot of shops that have reopened as there are many people going out as our country is slowly recovering from the pandemic. Referring to the screenshot below, the Philippine Statistics Authority Region VI - Western Visayas, had logged the employment rate with 94.4% last April 2022 which is a positive feedback that there are many people who are now working. As for the Unemployment rate it is 5.6% although it is lower than the past years it’s still somewhat a big percentage of unemployed Filipinos in our country.
