1) A burden is something you don't want to do but have a commitment to.
2) Kipling views the people being imperialized as helpless and evil. He is not correct, it is used as an excuse for America to control other nations 
3) Kipling views imperialism as a good thing because the US is "helping" these countries. I do not agree because most countries didn't want the US to interfere.
