<title>the importance of quote one is that it is showing that he is week. the quote is saying in midnight he became weak and weary. this quote is showing darkness and to show that he is weak. the importance of quote 2 is that the speaker tries to comfort himself by coming up with a logical explanation. the speaker is trying to comfort himself because he is faced with a mysterious and scary world. to help him not be scared he says a sound that is not scary which is wind which assuming the sound of wind comforts him. the importance of quote 3 is that it is showing that the natural world is why it is scary and spooky. When the speaker opens the door into the darkness he gets lost in it. He&#39;s always looking for clues in the natural world, trying to learn the answers to unsolvable questions.</title>
