I wanted my object to be something that was used for holding water. The idea made me appreciate human ingenuity. This vessel held more than water or other substances. It was used to communicate.

I am using the vessel as a metaphor, as a tool to collect the experiences I had and the experiences I dreamt of in the past. Especially in a time in my life where I didn't quite know what was working in my life and not. 
I want to use the vessel in a way through which I explore and make sense of my identity and experiences to inform/collect the person I am today. To discover my face and voice that tells my story.

At least I am expected to. Many have similarly grown up in multiple cultures. Hence what culture are we propelling? There are wider applications of containers. Homes that hold our identities in one place. A place where we collect our identities. Through posters, paintings of others, works done by ourselves, the cuttleries and dishes, the choice of products, the paint on the wall. We evolve our identities through our homes containing our memories, works and values.
 Windows facilitate us to display our best works as the outside world may catch a chance glimpse through it, and we see the world through it, facilitating us to ground our foots in our homes.
