The headquarter is based in London. The production company was founded by Nira Park on 11th February 1995. The parent organisation for this production company is ITV studios.
The production company has produced many comedy films as this is there genre of films.  The films produced by the company are Attack The Block, Baby Driver, Cuban Fury, Grimsby, Hot Fuzz, In Fear, Man up, Paul, Shaun Of The Dead, Scott Pilgrim VS The World, Sightseers and The World End's. The production company also produce TV Shows, this are also comedy shows such as Brotherhood, Friday night dinner, Youngers, The Town, The Job lot, Just a Couple and there are also a few more different TV Shows. The first featured film that Big Talk productions was Shaun of the Dead which then ended up the company and film was given a BAFTA award. The production company was awarded the 'Best Independant production company' at the 2017 Broadcast awards and in 2014 achieve the Production company of the year'.

The production company would make trailers and film posters for the TV shows or Films before they were released in cinemas/On TV as this was the way of getting their targeted audience to view the films but also show other demographics if they wanted to watch it. They would also make DVD Covers for when the film was released on DVD,this was so they could promote the film so people would buy the film, this was all done by a marketing crew as they have to get as many people to see it as possible as they want to grow their audience and get as many people to see it as possible. Another way that they could get people to view their films/ shows is to talk about it over social media as this is another way of promoting the production, a way of getting people to talk about a film is using a hashtag so people are able to speak over social media about the film, for example in Shaun the dead they could use the hashtag #shaunthedead this could then getting trending on social media platforms such as Twitter. Also radio may be used as the radio presenters could be talking about the film and the viewers may then think about watching the film if they have heard good reviews, also the audio part of the trailer may also be shown as a radio advert where it shows the funniest scenes of the show because the audience may find it funny and think 'I'll go and watch Shaun of the dead it looks fun'. The film Shawn the dead made $30,039,392 since the film was first released in 2004. The budget for the film was 4 Million USA Dollars.

The production company aim for the target audience to be British as the production needs to be filmed in English and also most of the locations need to be in Britain however some of the scenes are filmed else where such as America.The film's  ethnicity will be aimed at most British people because not many other ethnicities will watch the film however there are many different ethnicities in the UK so they may think about changing the audience instead of being Christian or Catholic. The gender of the audience will be both because the films will be talked about all over the UK so everyone will want to watch it if its very popular, however maybe the films produced are more aimed at males.

The production process has to go through a variety of different steps before the production is complete or even before it goes ahead. The producer' Nira Park' will have to come up with an idea and then have to tell the production team such as the Director, executive producers and everyone else within the production her idea and they will then have to start the pre production for the film/TV Show, this will be the writer,production assistant, scriptwriter and editors. Then after this is all done they will then make the film or TV Show, this part will include the camera operators,runners,directors,vision mixer, technicians, floor managers and producers. After the filming is complete the producer and editor will have to go through the clips and the editor will have to edit the film together to a high standard. It will then get sent to the distributors and then they will release the film into cinema/ On Tv depending on the production. 

The distributors are different for the production company depending on the TV shows and the film. Most of the distributors for the TV shows are ITV, BBC or Chanel 4 as these are where the TV shows are mostly likely shown. Most of the distributors for the films are Universal Pictures,Rogue Pictures and Studio Canal. Shaun the Dead was bought mostly on DVD, overall the film had sold over 849,468 in the space of 4 years leading to 2008, so from today the views will be even higher as it would have been out 13 years. The camera lighting used within the film has a variety of high key and low key lighting however most of the film is high key lighting as this shows the hope for Shaun and his girlfriend and he becomes the man she wants him to be, however the low key lighting could be suggesting their isn't hope for him and his girlfriend and also shows the death of the zombies. There are a variety of shots used within the film such as close ups of the actors to show the expression as the Zombies get closer to them, also mid shots are used to show the body language of the actors to see the action and to create tension for the audience. Many props are used such as vinyls as a weapon to kill the zombies, this shows that the film's genre is comedy as isn't is really realistic and to make people laugh because it makes them wonder if they are going to survive.

Big talk production aims their tv shows and films to the British viewers as everything is based on British life, however some other viewers from different countries such as America and European Countries may watch the production however the aim of the company is for British viewers. The cast will appeal to the UK audience as they have an British cast and crew such as the Director' Edgar Wright'' The producer" Nira Park" Scriptwriter 'Simon Pegg".Also the British themes and culture as the British audience would be able to relate to the film in many ways, this may be going to university or eating a roast dinner as this shows traditional British cultures.
The company has a good relationship with Hollywood as some of the actors such as Simon Pegg,Edgar Wright and Nick Foster where selected as the Hollywood's "It List" as they were stared in The World's end, Shaun the Dead and Hot Fuzz.
