PLN?

The PLN, or Personal Learning Network, is basically the group of proffesionals you exangüe information with and get information too. Back in the day, it was just reduced to the staffroom as our course said, but it is true that nowadays we have a global view of every thing thanks to the social networks, and that's why we have now 2 types of influence in our profesional work, the ideas we share with our peers, and the PLN, which gives us information from all over the globe.
In this blog it is very well explained what is the point of a PLN but, for me, a PLN is basically a group of people, no matter how far or how close they are to you, you share information with. Because of this, I think that, right now, my PLN is formed by my peers, my teachers and all the teacher-learning-student-school type of pages I follow on Instagram.

Well… I dind't know about how useful twitter could be because, first of all I have no Twitter account and also because I never thought about social media as a useful rsource for teachers to get ideas and reflect about teaching methods and related things. In this blog I read, the writter convinced me with all the good things she said about Twitter that I didn't lose anything trying Twitter... OMG. The greatest thing I could have done! There are thousands of pages of information and resources, thousands of opinions, thousands of group conversations to joint to get and give information… It is really good man… If you are not sure about using Twitter... believe me, try it, it's real worth it.

Well, all my life I've been thinking about how we teachers could change the classroom envirnment in order to make the kids fully engaged and helping them to reach their best inside of the classroom. In this video, I've seen that we can do it. This wonderful teacher spent her money buying stuff for her classroom and it has worked! I'm totally going to do it when I become a teacher one day, for sure.
