1- I prefer a combination of coursebook materials and authentic materials in my classrooms. Course books are ready to use and every student has a coursebook. Authentic materials on the other hand more personalized and they are from real life e.x. Phone conversations, announcements, social media posts. Realia is more interesting.

2- I use active listening materials in my lessons. Today, we have learned about reasoning the problems and that was really beneficial and giving clear instruction is crucial. I am going to use think -pair-share activity to engage my students and we have used the gallery walk which I find vere useful for evaluation. Differentiation is really necessary for weaker students. I will design my lessons by using different digital sites. I have learned a kot today.

1- In my district the most common problem when teaching Speaking is not using the target language outside of the classroom. My students can’t find a chance to practise what they have learned in the classroom and this leaves a blank in their learning process.

2- We have discussed some ideas and share our experiences about the time when we are planning our speaking lessons. I can enhance my classroom with different techniques and give proper Feedback. In terms of the problem that I mentioned before, I can use digitalization for speaking tasks. Paper slides is one of the most useful activity for my students because it is fun and they are really talented about the technology. Thank you!

1- I have had the knowledge about the flipped classrooms. I believe it will be really useful for my reading classes because it saves time. I can use this extra time to do more follow up activities. And in terms of students, they will be more prepared to the class and this makes them more confident.

2- In today’s sessions we discussed reading and the activity on the page 27 was challenging for us. We had some misunderstandings, disagrements about the statements. We learned that Students engagement and motivation is more important than the levrek of the text. So, I think all of my colleagues agree that encouraging the learners is crucial.

1- I realized that I used many of the approaches ( process, product writing etc.) in my classrooms. But, I also realized that I cannot manage to plan writing lessons well. I don’t take the motivation and preparedness of my students. Snack writing was the most useful one. I want to use it because my students News regular writing activities and writing short texts is not overwhelming.

2- I know when colleagues hear about agony aunt, they will surprised as I did today. That was an enjoyable activity and we can combine it with other activities like gallery walk. I am going to use the digital tools that we learned today in my PDC sessions. They are really beneficial and easy to use.

1- In our sessions we talked about giving students a chance to discover the grammer rules for themselves. We are familiar with the flipped classrooms and they can be autonomous learners by using this technique. I realized that I don’t use freer activities that much. I should design much more freer activities to support fluency.

2- My colleagues would like to talk about explicit and implicit grammar approaches and how to design freer, guided and controlled activities and what time to use which one. I think designing the grammar task should be prioritised because grammar approaches can be determined by our students levels and their needs but we need to plan the tasks and know where to use which task. And I will also mention about digital tools like gamestolearnenglish.com and bamboozed in my PDCs. They are great.

1- I admire teachers who come together with their colleagues and share their ideas, talk about common problems and spend quality time. I attended this project because I think the greatest benefit of PDCs is giving English teachers a chance to interact with each other in a meaningful context.

2- As far as I understand, I’m not alone while preparing, conducting and even evaluating my PDCs sessions. I will ask questions to my facilitators and now I have met many facilitator candidate who I can share ideas, activities and feedbacks.

3- I know how to design a PDCs session and my role as a facilitator. About emotions today we shared our previous experiences and creating a positive atmosphere is really important. I had an experience on a course about Common European Framework which was engaging to the field but overwhelming. I will think about differences of participants and roles when I face with a problem. I need to find a polite way to engage the resistant colleagues also.
