He can tie it off on a more stable structure at the top of the ladder (not one of the rungs which aren't stable). I iterated on the rope because I remembered that if the rope reaches the bottom of the tunnel, it wouldn't last with the tide coming in/out. I reworked the robe using plastic baggies. I feel that using a recycled sturdy plastic would be best for this rope. I sealed the holes of the berry  box with duct tape. The cardboard inside gave strength. This would protect the watch the character was trying to exchange with his foe.

Reflection: I would add rope or string to tie to the character's clothing to make sure it didn't get lost.

They all ate their slushies quickly and by the time, they got to the library, they were like little foxes, jumpy and mischievous. What they wanted most was still food, so the librarian said she would give them some. Only if they completed her challenges. Groaning, the kids set forth to code, solder, build, create beats, and craft. They beat every challenge faster and better than before! They couldn't stop talking about what they made. As it was time to go, the librarian smiled. She knew that these students were smart, resourceful and one day, would light up the world!                But first, they'd get a nibble of their snack.
