Someone who overheard this informed the police, and they had to get out of there before the law found them.
I do think that Jim Kenally was right when he “didn’t believe he needed a better plan. He just needed a better team”. I think I know why Jim Kenally’s plan failed because, he keep letting out the news about him trying to steal Lincoln’s bones. When people overheard what he was saying, they immediately told the sheriff’s office and they had to scram.
I think he was right because if he said he didn’t need another plan but need a better team, it was because his team kepted on telling that they were gonna rob Lincoln’s bones. The police quickly got onto the plot and investigated if it is true, which damaged Jim's attempt. He was right and wrong about he just needed a better team. He was right because he needed new people that would be secretive and unknown so his plot won't leak unlike his other partners that leaked the plot, which was almost the end for him. He is wrong because he also needs a new plot because everyone already knows about it. In my opinion, I think it was very foolish of them to even have alcohol because if you take to much you can say random stuff and act weird. But then again that is the teams fault. It was very wrong to be doing things they know could cause a consequence for them and the plan. It's a team effort on why the plan failed. Maybe he needed a more responsible team. Ones who don't have other priorities such as drinking the night of the plan.
