Hello my name is Christoph Bierschwale. Before I completed module 3, I already studied the two preceding modules. I work in the educational field and am very interested in the digital transformation in education. I would like to continue to develop my digital skills, in particular teaching digital skills to students in this course.

Personally, I can say that I live in a small town in Germany. I like to go hiking and read in my spare time. I hope you will find my portfolio interesting.

For orientation in the portfolio, you can use the columns as a guide, they also depict the structure of the module.

best regards
Christoph

It was also required that the tool should be justified. The mind map is particularly easily accessible for students. Its strength lies in the clear and well-structured presentation, which enables a quick overview. Furthermore, many tips were given for digital tools that can be used to obtain feedback. Furthermore, many practical and precise instructions have already been given on how feedback should be obtained.

I have presented a very detailed concept of how digital competencies can be developed. You can find the concept attached.

This concept particularly teaches how to use software, the students also learn how to give feedback with digital tools and they learn how to use digital tools to present their own learning progress in the context of an e-portfolio.

The goal is therefore that learners ’digital competences in content creation and communication are developed.

I dealt with how one can check the credibility of an information source. I think this question is the first and most important one to even find out whether the source can be trusted. If the credibility is not given, it cannot be assumed that there is reliability. For me it is important that all information about the author and the organizational connection is available. It is also important to me that the work is scientifically well founded.

I set myself the goal of being able to develop digital assessment strategies. The tasks to create a DAS in the third week and the developments of the rubrics helped me a lot. In this way, I was able to develop a well-founded concept through the accompanying scientific reading and further develop my skills in the area. I am very pleased with how far I have made it in this course. The organization of the modules also helped me a lot.

I also wanted to develop myself further in terms of my feedback strategies. The literature showed me a lot of possibilities how to give feedback, e.g. through formative, summative and sustainable feedback. I found the strategies very helpful. What helped me the most was that the texts also described the advantages and disadvantages so that you could develop your understanding very well. I also noticed completely new aspects of formative feedback here. The instructions helped me a lot by knowing what good feedback is. Hattie's advice on the empirical justification is very helpful in this regard. The group work has also brought me further. With the mind map, I now have a resource that helps me and that I can now always use to better plan the lessons.

Overall, I am very satisfied with what I did in the module. Because I worked on the tasks regularly, I was also able to follow the content well. I also find it positive that the module has a clear structure and builds on one another, which makes orientation in the module and processing easier. If I compare my knowledge with the goals in the learning guide, then I find that I have achieved the goals and that I was able to take the relevant knowledge with me.

Wordcount: 283
