I am honestly do not support it. if I am going to be honest it is quite cruel to let kids only focus on their school work and not look for other courses that might inanity the fire of passion

As education in, mind without education of the heart It is no education at all. From my perspective as I have joined multiple courses such as plane related once it truly did ignite some passion to continue my course and it influences my choice of my course In college. If you were to ask any adultin the world right now there is quite a good chance they have pursued their dreams from their childhood according to many articles such as this 43 Percent of Adults Report Living Out Their Childhood Dream ...The Toy Associationhttps://www.toyassociation.org › News › 2021-news › 43... . It's also important to note that it isn’t about the matter of whether the kids were to find their passion, it’s also about who in their right mind would just restrict their kids to only focus on their school work focusing should be finding something else to do, not. sit in a classroom being taught the same thing every generation it is as cruel as it sounds

Do you agree that it is good for students to compete with one another ?

I dont agree that students should be competing against one another. why ? It causes students to be overwhelmed by personal experience. Being overwhelmed everyday was a healthy habit to have. It was always what i can do better and i finally did better. It was never i should give time for myself. It causes students to hate on each other because there is a feeling between one another which was i have to be better than them. It causes to have misunderstandings which can lead to many worse things in the future. They wont be able to work in a working community which needs to be worked together in a group as they will feel like how they were in the past it could effect their life in the future just because of something that happen im the past. So asking students to compete with another will do nothing and will not benefit them in any way. All it would do make the discourage themselves and end up overworking themselves to the point, they dont know if they should be continuing what ever they are doing or stop. Competing is never good for any one especially the younger generations.

I wouldn’t fully agree with the view that student should not take courses outside of school because on one hand some courses would be helpful to you when finding jobs , or even when they are trying to hire you like for example when the interviewer asks you what makes you different from the rest you can say that the course that you took would be detrimental to the choice of the interviewer weather they would hire you or not, and another hand ,some courses would just be an unimportant skill like for example you are interested in an engineering joband you took an course outside of school like cooking has no correlation to your job scope or even what you are currently studying I know that some have a passion on certain skills but when these people are coming closer to your exams the would obviously be weighed with the heavy option with either they have to continue it but some will also opt to continue with the course but would also affect the will to study and would also lose focus from their studies, and would ultimately led to getting bad marks which most people would not want ,

I don’t think it’s a good idea because it may fosters an unhealthy relationship between one student to another .” It doesn’t help that youths of today have to deal with increasing competitiveness both at school and work, and rising pressures to keep up with perfect appearances on social media such as Tik Tok and Instagram. “ this shows that teen with suffer being compared to one another because it’ll hurt the mental health and they my fall into a state of depression due to it . “ 1 in 3 young people aged between 15 and 35 years in Singapore experience severe or extremely severe symptoms of depression, anxiety and/or stress. “ this also proves that it’s easier and a higher chance for students to be affected and fall into that state of mind because comparing themselves with one another will make them feel as if that they not good enough as who they are and that they have to look like others to be the ‘perfect’ one .

In my opinion, I don’t think that it is best to stick with one job throughout your entire career. Only sticking with one job will not let you explore your hidden interests. Who knows if you actually have a passion in gardening? You will never know because you only stuck to one job. People should be more open minded about switching jobs once in a awhile. I personally have no experience but my father used to do all types of jobs. He would be an accountant, then a manager, and then a personal driver. He said that it helped him gain a lot of experience in various things. I feel like if you stick to one job, you will be more closed minded as you are not open to working in a different job. I get that sometimes a different environment is scary, but sometimes it’s better to stop out of your comfort zone to see which job or skill piques your interest.

No! I do not agree with the view that it is good for student to compete with one another. It is not good for students to compete with one another because they may feel hatred and stress amongst one another, if one did not do well and the other do well, it might cause the student with lesser mark to overthink and overwork themselves causing depression, competing against one another can cause a negative effect on our mental health. I can relate to this as I am a students, my parents always compare me with my brother as he is the hardworking and the smart one. This causes me and my brother hatred and always competing against one another, even tho I try my best it was always not enough in my parents eyes

no , I do not agree that it is good for students to compete with one another. When students compete with one another they tend to not get along well with their peers as they are trying to be above the other 24/7. When parents compare students to their schoolmates, the student may feel hatred towards the other person and feel like they are not doing their best and work even harder which makes them feel more stressed and may lead to falling ill as they might prioritise studies over their wellbeing. When I was younger, my teachers always compared me to my sister and would talk about how I should be more like her and work harder, this lead to me and my sister feeling hatred towards each other and consistently competing against each other hoping to be the “better” one which made us become distant. Parents always hope for their children to get along with one another instead of arguing all the time but that is not possible if they are comparing them with each other, the only person we should compete with is ourselves and become a better version of our past.

Some people think it is better to do one job throughout your career and not to change jobs. However in my opinion, changing jobs helps us broader the range of experiences and having different perspective views. I my personal experience, I always looking for different part time jobs during the holidays, it’s because I prefer trying new things than having a same jobs because it will make me feel boring. Having a same jobs don’t allow me to gain more jobs experience and skills. It also doesn’t allow me to get the opportunity to have different views of the job. That’s the reason why I think that changing jobs helps us broader the range of experiences and having different perspective views.

I do agree that students must focus on their school subjects, however, I do not agree with the notion that you must only focus on your school subjects and not take external courses that interests them. While, of course, the main school subjects are important, choosing to focus solely on studying during free time instead of studying one’s passion may cause stress, depression, and angst as they are forced to study subjects which they have little to no interest in. About 10-30% of all students are depressed or have depressive tendencies. Wouldn’t you be depressed if you couldn’t even focus on what you wanted to be, and only focused on your studies? Focusing solely on their subjects may also hinder them on their future jobs, as people would rather hire someone who has experience than someone who can do algebra. Outside courses are great for students as they can help prepare them for their future jobs, and even help them realise what they can do in the future.
