The Crane High School Band has once again made history, earning top honors across multiple competitions and continuing a proud legacy that spans more than four decades.


Head Band Director Sara Hill praised the 2025 Marching Band’s hard work and commitment, calling this season one of the most impressive in school history.


“I am so incredibly proud of this 2025 marching production this year,” Hill said. “Our students have excelled at several competitions, earning Best in Class, Outstanding Percussion, and Outstanding Visual Team. They stepped up to the plate and carried on our long-standing tradition of 43 years with a phenomenal performance at Region Marching Contest.”


The Golden Crane Band’s dedication and talent have set the stage for their next big challenge — the Area Marching Contest, where they will compete in prelims on November 1 at 1 p.m. in Lubbock.


Hill encourages the community to come out and support the students as they represent Crane on the regional stage.


“We hope to see you all in Lubbock to support these hard-working students,” she said.


With excellence in musicianship, precision, and spirit, the Crane High School Band continues to uphold its storied tradition — one note, one step, and one performance at a time.
