I have learned the structure of summary writing, some ways how to create the first sentence while summarizing include the author's name, the title and the main idea of the entire article. We should understand really well what the article is talking about and focus on the key ideas before and during summarizing it.

This is totally new to me. I had to do the test twice to make sure I understand what is a summary writing. Afterall, i learned how to built the first sentence of it with the informations like the authors name, the tittle and the main idea of the articles. After you need to do the summary of the articles by writting one or 2 sentences of each paragraph. If necessary you can put together the same paragraph that talk about the same topic to save the writting unescesary. the key idea helps to summarize. It is important to do not details the information but go globaly. Job complete

2-complete  understanding the article.
3-The first sentence that you write should include the author'name and the title.
4-Divide the article in 2 section and write 1-2 sentences of each section.
5-Underline the key idea.
6-Put these sentences in the same order
7- Use connective language.
Summary need to capture the main idea of the article.

This tutorial is not new but after I review again I feel clearer on summarizing writing. Also, this strategy can be use as a reading skill. When we are doing reading, we can use this strategy to understand story.

In my opinion, underline keywords and main points are the most important strategies. In addition, the connective language and writing different form of sentences is the most difficult part in summary writing.

I have learned that in summarizing, the first sentence is important because it contain the main idea of the whole article. Also, it is important to include authors name, title of article and the main idea in the first sentence. Additionally, writing a sentence that represent that main idea of the paragraph, and joining all the sentences with connective words is a best strategy for summarizing. I have learned not to include unnecessary details such as dates, places, numbers etc.
Neda]]> 2017-04-23 04:28:16 UTC https://padlet.com/kst_14/psmzw0kqm2hw/wish/167659164 Summary Writing https://padlet.com/kst_14/psmzw0kqm2hw/wish/167717767 There are several steps that need to be involve during the process of writing a summary.  Understanding the idea of the author is clue, so read it more than one time.  Divide the article into sections, and label the main ideas, then write 1o 2 sentences of each section mantaining the same secuence of the original article.  Use connectors to create sense, and fluency, at this point its important to conect the ideas by using all grammar resources, also use especific examples, and details if the case.  Last but not least compare the author article with the summary adjusting for accuracy, and using the own words, finally before to submit check the spelling, vocabulary, transition words, and phrases
