Based on what we have read so far I would describe Brain as a kind and loving character. My reasoning is he is always sharing his MREs ( Meals Ready To Eat ) with Nubs. My proof is that dogs are very smart animals. Why would Nubs chase after BOSS, Scout , and Chuck nearly dying about 3 times? I connect with Brian because my mom had a dog before I was born.

I would describe Brian caring because when Nubs had a wound, he and the human medics cleaned the wound, put ointment on it, and gave him a child-sized dose of medicine for him. I would describe Brian thoughtful because he gave up some of his pre-made meals, and I think that Brian and his team don't get a lot of pre-made meals.
