From criminological perspective, recently the number of knife crime increased rapidly since 2014, at the same time, the number of stops and search has been falling. There must be a relationship between reducing stop and search and knife crime growth. Therefore, stop and search should be used more widely by the police. Similarly, according to the statistics, the number of perpetrators of knife crime who aged under 16 also demonstrate rising trend. Thus, it is important to give the teachers right to search the school children. I strongly believe that to some extent stop and search can help to prevent crime. 
From education perspective, introduce stop and search in school can help to educate and draw attention to the serious effect of knife. In my view, education plays a significant role in the mental health development and then helps to prevent crime. 
From social perspective, police using stop and search can greatly benefit for public health and maximum benefits for the largest number of people although more widely use may cause moral panic. 
From human rights perspective, the powers of stop and search can be criticized as being contrary to the right of an individual to respect for private life. And it may result in some problems such as discrimination due to the people who have been searched are mainly the black and minority ethics.  
To sum up, from my point of view, stop and search should be used more widely by the police and introduced into schools, but both the police and teacher should use the power carefully.
