Velociraptors in the Kitchen Scene - Jurassic Park
This is a good scene because the sound editing and acting is excellent, and it accurately portrays the feelings of the characters to the point where the audience can feel the suspense. The clicks of talons on the floor and the heavy breathing of the characters combined with the soundtrack and sequence of abrupt silences lets the audience know that not only do the characters not want to be in a closed space with carnivorous dinosaurs, but that they don't either. Also, the utilization of using a small kitchen for the scene heightens the sense of fear and unpredictability that both the characters and the viewers are feeling. While watching this scene, no one wants to be stuck in a tiny space with a velociraptor.

This scene has loss, action, humor, and good CGI editing all in one scene. The audience loses one of the main ants named "Antony" who was with Ant-Man through most of his journey. The humor comes from the good sound editing from the suitcase battle and the fact that Ant-Man and Yellow-Jacket are miniature. It also provides ironic humor because of the bug zapper scene.

Han Solo's death scene in The Force Awakens is a good scene because it has good camera angles, fantastic lighting and good acting. The lighting in the scene was great because on the bridge where Kylo Ren and Han were standing the one side that Han was on was lit up in a bright blue and Kylo's side was a dark red which showed how the two were feeling two very different things emotionally. When Han is trying to convince Kylo to come back with him Kylo starts to give in and the two colors fade away for a moment but then the both sides of the scene turn a dark red and it is foreshadowing that Kylo has made the choice to kill Han which he does a moment later. This is a really powerful scene because the camera angles and lighting emphasize the characters feelings and foreshadow the future of the movie.

This scene from Mean Girls Is a good because of the use of being able to her both what Cady says out loud and what she is thinking to herself. This way you can see both perspectives of how she portrays her self and how she actually feels. There is also a use of "primal" behavior to symbolize how she wants to react but knows she can't.

The Greatest showman (The Other Side)
This is a good scene because it draws the audience to it. The sound editing is good and makes the scene pop. The actors really get into character and bring a whole new meaning to it. It seems believable and makes a lot of sense because of the attitude each person brings to the character. It's a good script which makes a big difference in how well they movie will be. The actors can actually sing which makes it all the more appealing.

It uses no dialog, and is able to tell the story of their lives, and give the audience a sense of the back ground of the characters and how they got to the point where the movie starts. It leaves holes in the plot that the viewer must fill in themselves, but from the context they are able to fill it in the same way without knowing exactly what happened. This scene is very powerful, even though it is meant to be a children movie. It breaks down the barrier of animation and showing the human side of characters, such as illness, death and other events, rarely explored in animated movies.

The introduction from UP is a great example of a good film scene. It uses no words but accurately depicts the life of a husband and wife. The scene shows their everlasting love and a lot of their daily life. It gives the viewer a sense of attachment to the characters. It uses a great soundtrack to do so, with an upbeat instrumental. It makes the viewer feel happy, and good inside.

The actors take on their characters well and the the costumes were very well made and designed.
