Lets slow down and focus on actual kids who don't fit the round hole- The ones being lost in the cracks and there are plenty of them in both elementary and secondary. We have to do more than walk to walk and look at how we are treating kids who learn differently at all levels... Inclusiveness/Differentiation not just workshops and assemblies. We need time after we stop skidding to process everything that we have implemented rapidly in last 5 years. Slow down all the stuff and stop the feeling of being overwhelmed. We have exceeded capacity so now have less participation in PD, committee work, etc. Fix sub problem and focus work. Give time for processing. Find balance between must dos and give teacher autonomy and time to do the meaningful things with kids.
