Part I: Introducing, Juliet

Juliet Capulet is the 14 year old daughter of Lord Capulet and Lady Capulet. She is Romeo Montague's lover; use the term loosely. Juliet is described as young, because she is 14; beautiful, because, according to Rome, she shines as bright as the sun; and naive, because she claims to love someone that she has met within the hour. In the play, Juliet is related to Lord and Lady Capulet, and the Nurse. Juliet's feelings lead her to fall in love with someone she has just met, her nemesis none the less. Consequences ensue.

Juliet is an innocent yet naive girl. She falls in love with a sworn enemy, a man she had only met moments before. The action that she took was to kiss Romeo. "Then move not while my prayers effect I take. Thus from my lips, by thine my sin is purged." (1.5.104-105) "Sin from my lips? O trespass sweetly urged! Give me my sin again." (1.5.107-108) The main characters don't care how this effects the side characters.

Though Juliet is naive, she truly believes that she is in love. Who has the right to take her happiness away from her? Juliet marries Romeo, and is excited for their wedding night. Romeo had to go and kill someone, therefore being banished by the Prince. Juliet hears of her cousins murder and gets mad at Romeo. She decides that she must continue to be on the side of her husband, and chooses to be happy that Romeo was not injured rather than mourn her cousins death. "O, I have bought the mansion of love, but not possessed it, and though I am sold, not yet enjoyed." (3.2.26-27) "Hood my unmanned blood bating in my cheeks." (3.2.14) When Romeo and Juliet get married there isn't any particular effect on anyone else because only few people know about the marriage.

The song Beautiful Mess by Kristian Kostov perfectly captures Romeo and Juliet's relationship. The first verse talks about how nothing could ever destroy their love. The entire song basically talks about how untouchable a true love really is.

As previously explained, Juliet is a young, naive girl. Though she is naive, she knows what she wants, and she takes it. Romeo has been banished, and is not to see Juliet. Juliet goes to Friar Laurence and they devise a plan that allows Juliet to be with Romeo. Juliet takes a poison that makes her look dead, and Romeo finds her. When he finds her, he kills himself and then Juliet wakes up. When Juliet finds Romeo dead, she kills herself. That was the Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet.
