My name is Ileana , I'm an English teacher in a secondary school with many years of experience in international projects which have enriched me and my students . This type of experience has shown me that the more I widen my students' horizons , the more they feel motivated . This is what I hope the CLIL methodology will give to my teaching approach .

This is a very challenging approach but I think there are some weak points in our school system : teacher of other subjects haven't often got the necessary language competence . They should improve their knowledge of the foreign language but this is a process which requires years . So before introducing this approach it should have been advisable to form teachers first .

My five techno-Clil weeks

In my first week with TechnoClil, I learned to use the Padlet, by using its digital wall, on which I introduced myself.
Then I started to read about Clil, and how it works. It was very interesting. In my second week I just got more and more involved with Clil. After that, I started to use the webtool grid, on which I talked about my favourite webtool.

In my third week, things got interesting. This week was the one that introduced me the Learning Designer tool. It was (and is) a magic tool. With it I could describe simply and practically my way of teaching.

In my fourth week I was introduced to the Extensive Reading methodology.
In this way a new way of reading that was more intense, more debatable, and more
interesting was opened to me!

My final week was, in simple words, intense!
I just learnt about new and wonderful tools I could use with my classes.
Then, the most complex bit: the video.
You know, for a non expert, making and editing a video is just like talking in a language I don't speak!
I managed it, in the end!
