In Luxembourg, the gender pay gap is only at 1.4% which is an excellent number compared to other high gender pay gap countries like South Korea, Brazil, Netherlands, Japan, and much more. Apart from countries in which women and men legally have the same earnings as men, Luxembourg is one of the countries that sets a really good example to the countries trying to lower their gender pay gap and the countries with massive numbers and women earning a lot less than men. So if every country followed Luxembourg's steps then maybe gender pay gap won't be such a big problem in the future.

This means that women earn 24.8 % less than men which obviously affects the economy. If you really look into Russia it might not seem like a country that would be really affected by the gender pay gap and that would be one part of the truth but the other part is far from similar. Women in Russia get affected by the gender pay gap and decide to leave the country, which would lead Russia to have fewer women. But that is not the main issue, the issue is that the women which left Russia because of the gender pay gap will soon start to work in another country and promote money for that specific country, so even though they are Russian they are contributing money for the country who accepted them and gave them a job.
