         <description><![CDATA[<div>Double click anywhere on this page to make your post. I have started off the discussion with my picture, chosen because&nbsp; these mannequins have been modelled on the bodies of people with disabilities and were placed in a shop front in Zurich. I've chosen this image as it shows something which is rarely, if ever seen here in the United Kingdom and it made me question why? How do we view physical disability as a society? </div>]]></description>

I like how this picture creates a sense of individuality and no matter whether disabilities are physical or not, no-one should be judged.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I have chosen this photo as it shows that a person with a disability can still enjoy different experiences that others may take for granted, such as going along a sandy beach. With modifications and planning people in wheel chairs can also have this opportunity using  specialised chairs with large wheels.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I have chosen this picture of two children learning a form of non-verbal communication with a disabled child. I think this is important as it suggests how other children's attitudes towards disability are influenced by their interactions and experiences with disabled children. This in turn, should reduce the level of stigma that is widely shown within different societies.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I have chosen this picture as I think it highlights how disabled children feel. It is important that children are taught about disabilities, and are able to talk about their own and others disabilities freely without feart of being judged or discriminated against. People should not shy away from disabilities but embrace them. All children are individuals and it is important that this is celebrated. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This is something I had seen recently on social media against a picture of a child in a wheelchair. I think it symbolised the child feeling disabled and immobile to becoming visually equal and included, and seeing the world the same way others get the opportunity to see it.<br>Small changes make big differences to a child with special needs. Some of these children may never be able to walk independently but it gives them a new experience which can only be positive.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This photo was taken at the Special Needs summer camp i worked at this summer, it involves a variety of people with different types of disabilities coming together to put on the Wizard of Oz show, who all had the chance to take part, either through singing, dancing or drama, and where able to have fun with friends, whether they were verbal or non-verbal, or physically disabled, or intellectually disabled. Their type of disability did not put them at a disadvantage and everyone got involved, and most importantly, had fun. </div>]]></description>
