I've chosen this image as it shows something which is rarely, if ever seen here in the United Kingdom and it made me question why? I think this is important as it suggests how other children's attitudes towards disability are influenced by their interactions and experiences with disabled children. It is important that children are taught about disabilities, and are able to talk about their own and others disabilities freely without feart of being judged or discriminated against. People should not shy away from disabilities but embrace them. Clearly the smile on his face shows that he is happy. When I look at this picture I think, 'What if the wheel chair was not presented in the picture. I think it symbolised the child feeling disabled and immobile to becoming visually equal and included, and seeing the world the same way others get the opportunity to see it.
Small changes make big differences to a child with special needs. Many children still get excluded from physical activities and play because of their disabilities.  Disability doesn't need to lead to segregation and people do not realise 
how it affects disabled  children.
