We chose a pink wedding dress because usually, back then, the bride's dress was any fashionable color besides white. The reason why we chose this pink dress is because love is often associated with the color pink. The color pink is also mentioned by Mercutio in Act 2, "Nay, I am the very pink of courtesy" (2.4.56). Romeo asks him "Pink for flower" (2.4.57). Mercutio then responds to Romeo by saying "Right"(2.4.58)

For Romeo and Juliet's wedding, we thought that roses would be the most appropriate as their wedding flowers because their love is compared to thorns a lot. In Act 1, Romeo remarks that "Love... it pricks like a thorn" (1.4.28). This reference to a thorn also refers to roses; in the Elizabethan Era, roses were a symbol of love. In Act 2, Juliet says "What's in a name? That which we call a rose/ By any other name would smell as sweet" (2.2.45-6).

All of me by John Legend is a good song for Romeo and Juliet's wedding because of the song's message. "All of me loves all of you" perfectly sums up how Romeo and Juliet feel about each other.
Figurative Language:
Ex 1- "The world is beating you down, I'm around through every mood"
This is an example of personification to show the message of love. The world doesn't actually beat the girl but the artist uses figurative language to say that through everything, the good and bad, I'll be there for you. Romeo and Juliet feel this way about each other, that through everything that could go wrong at least they will have each other.

Ex 2- "All your perfect imperfections"
This is an oxymoron. The artist uses language that contradicts itself. He is saying that the imperfections that she has are really perfect. This is a good example of Romeo and Juliet because they have already had to accept each other for who they are. Romeo and Juliet accepted the imperfection that their families are enemies.

Lyrics-
"All Of Me"

What would I do without your smart mouth?
Drawin' me in and you kickin' me out
You've got my head spinnin', no kiddin'
I can't pin you down
What's goin' on in that beautiful mind?
I'm on your magical mystery ride
And I'm so dizzy, don't know what hit me
But I'll be alright

My head's underwater, but I'm breathing fine
You're crazy and I'm out of my mind

'Cause all of me
Loves all of you
Love your curves and all your edges
All your perfect imperfections
Give your all to me
I'll give my all to you
You're my end and my beginnin'
Even when I lose, I'm winnin'

'Cause I give you all of me
And you give me all of you, oh-oh

How many times do I have to tell you?
Even when you're crying, you're beautiful too
The world is beating you down, I'm around
Through every mood
You're my downfall, you're my muse
My worst distraction, my rhythm and blues
I can't stop singing, it's ringing
In my head for you

My head's underwater, but I'm breathin' fine
You're crazy and I'm out of my mind

'Cause all of me
Loves all of you
Love your curves and all your edges
All your perfect imperfections
Give your all to me
I'll give my all to you
You're my end and my beginnin'
Even when I lose, I'm winnin'

'Cause I give you all of me
And you give me all of you, oh-oh

Give me all of you, oh
Cards on the table, we're both showing hearts
Risking it all, though it's hard

'Cause all of me
Loves all of you
Love your curves and all your edges
All your perfect imperfections
Give your all to me
I'll give my all to you
You're my end and my beginnin'
Even when I lose, I'm winnin'

'Cause I give you all of me
And you give me all of you

I give you all of me
And you give me all of you, oh-oh

Theme of the song-
The theme of the song is that everything balances out when love is true.

Analysis of the lyrics-
The lyrics are saying that they have true love and give the complete version of each other. The artist is saying that he wants every part of the girl without changing anything about her because everything she thinks is an imperfection is perfect in his eyes.
