In her image series the Opera Singer, one of the pictures is a distorted portrait with what I think are multiple phantoms, with a third being a blackened face. Due to her work being dialogue photography, I can clearly see that some sort of conversation is happening within the image without being spoken. My interpretation is the differences in dueling thoughts that distorts the portrait beyond solid recognition.

A way I could implement this into my work is the visual effects, and the potential it uses with visual dialogue and communication with the viewer.

Specific theme: stimming
Stimming is a form of self-soothing behavior characterized by repetitive motions with the body or with objects. Each autistic person has a different way of stimming, like playing with a tag, rocking back and forth, or through pressure. They do this when they are overstimulated/understimulated by giving something familiar to calm down.
For my collection, I chose objects I personally enjoy stimming to, and I want people to experience that for myself.

I was thinking of using this kind of format to make a series of small, simple illustrations going by the theme of "monster parents", from the perspective of the human child and the monsters.
