The Seahawks were down 24-28, and they were driving down the feild. Russell Wilson hit Jermaine Kearse deep down feild off his leg and caught it going to the three yard line. The Seahawks ran the first down and got maybe a yard. It was second down and they had about 50 seconds left and two time outs. They threw the ball and it was intercepted on the goaline by Malcom butler and the Patriots went on a won the superbowl. Assisting Saint Nicholas, who rewards the well-behaved children with modest gifts, while the badly behaved ones only receive punishment from Krampus. 

I would retell the story from Krampuses point of view by having Saint Nicholas be the actual bad guy, and Krampus is trying to save the miss behaved kids from him. Krampus helps the kids escape from Santa's "too good to be true" things that he does since they arent as good as it seems.

His nephew begins to show his same aptitude for invention. Daedalus grows jealous, and as his nephew begins to surpass his genius, he uses the childs trust in him to throw him off of a cliff. Daedalus gets exiled from Athens and is forced to walk on foot to another city where he is unknown.
Daedalus appears in many other stories (The origin of the Minotaur, Theseus and Ariadne's string, as well as the infamous story of Icarus,) but for his story these myths are a part of his repentance and growth.

If I were to retell this story, I would likely change the context of the story (Setting, Era, characters, etc) while keeping the emotional conflict of Daedalus's jealousy and his path towards repentance, potentially also with the idea of divine karma, grief, and loss.

After drifting aimlessly, he discovers this huge landmass made up of volcanic rock with no signs of life other than this massive monolith sticking out of the water at the bottom of a canyon. The monolith is covered in strange and uncanny carvings of sea creatures and tall humaniod fish-men. As he's looking at the carvings a giant creature starts to emerge from the water below the monolith, reaching up at him and making terrible noises. The man races back to his lifeboat and somehow makes it back to the mainland where he is haunted constantly by visions of the monolith and creature. 
I think it could be interesting to retell this story in a more sci-fi-heavy setting, maybe a solo spaceship pod that gets knocked off course on its way to a recently colonized planet. I would retell this story by explaining the Christo aspect to the story where and priest prayed that there would be more food that came somehow to feed the poor and then it came from the sky. This donkey is the only treasure left in his life, so he takes care of it like his own life. One day, when the farmer returns home tired and exhausted, he finds out that the donkey is no longer on the farm. Angry, and disappointed concludes that the donkey has been stolen or lost in the forest, so he sets out to find it.The story goes that a desperate farmer still searches for it in the woods, calling out its name to save it from danger and bring it back to the farm unharmed. 
The story clearly highlights the fact that the donkey was stolen or got lost in the dense forest. But what if the animal left the poor farmer on purpose, never intends to go back and every time it hears the owner's voice, the donkey runs away from him and his old, worn-out life.
