The character chosen by the group was Susie Hanover. Susie is a 7-year-old child with three siblings who plays soccer and likes when smoothing quiet music is played. Susie lives in an environment where there are no rules, and she does what she wants as her mother is not big on being a parent. She also is self-dependent at home as she makes herself dinner and puts herself to sleep. When Susie is in an environment where an adult is in charge she feels as if they are mean. Susie’s mother's report describes Susie as someone who has both medical and mental problems. Susie’s teacher’s report describes Susie as an active student but also disorganized and insecure. She has trouble understanding and controlling her own emotions.
