To capture this image Stieglitz had to wait there to capture the vertical composition to its focal point and the details of the urban surroundings. To create an Impressionistic appearance. This image will always be his most well known photo especially since he enhance his "camera work" skills and capture the busy New York street in the midst of a snowstorm.

This image was taken in the State of Washington of the Comet Falls by Koike in 1937. Koike, being a founder of the Seattle Camera Club , intuitively captured the image through utilizing all three of the tones: dark, light and neutral. These three tones are very common in pictorialism because the photographer can convey the meaning of their image through manipulation of the tones. In this case he utilizes dark tones to capture the trees, light tones to brighten the water falls so that you can visibly see the water running down the mountain and then furthering itself to another smaller falls. Koike also uses natural tone which is noticeable as we look to the top of the mountain we can identify distinct features of the Comet Falls.

The image is utilizing the natural tones of the landscape in order to capture an image that looks so out of place it should be a painting. The depth of field of the image follows an impressionate pattern as it naturally fades away it produces a lonely tone being the dock is the only aspect of the image that is darkened enough to visibility.

The Portfolio is known as Ladies and Gentlemen focussing on LGBTQ+ communities and femininity post-war. In this artwork, he printed each on five different screens that emitted different color shcemes. Furthermore Warhol would sometimes print off the register to capture his vision.

Moons feature in many of Ansel Adams photographs. It is difficult to take photographs including the moon where it doesn't either appear as an over-exposed white disc, or if a negative giving this is manipulated at the printing stage, a featureless grey disc. By 1960 Adams was sufficiently skilled in anticipating exposure, in his visualization of his images and in the practical application of his zone system, that his photographs including the moon could show the moon in detail and as a three dimensional object.

Tomato field was taken by Weston in 1937 in Monterey Coast. Weston's purpose of this photo was to draw the viewers eye to how we view and experience landscapes. Weston's photography is similar to Paul Strand's photograph in a way and he accomplishes the same goal but differently. Weston's photos are more unpredictable than Strand's urban man-made structure photos. He effectively brought photography out of the city and into rural America.

This photograph was taken later in his career, and was very unusual to what he usually shoots, as it includes figures from his personal life. The man in the photo is his friend and business partner. This photograph is full of symbolic meaning. He has implied that the broken bench refers to the breakdown of human relationships, as well as the mind and the body.
