Saint Cecilia was a very popular saint in our history. We don´t know very much about her, but we know that Saint Cecilia was born in 200 d.c in Rome, Italy. Theirs parents forced her to marry with a man called Valerio. Saint Cecilia was a virgin and she convinced him to remain also virgin and to became christian. After that, they started to extend Christianity around the world and they helped a lot of pagans to became christians. For this reason, Saint Celicia and her husband Valerio were killed. Turco Almaquio killed her after three days with serious injuries. In conclusion, Saint Cecilia died on 22nd november in 230 d.c at the age of 30 years old.

Each 22nd november Santa Cecilia's day or music day is celebrated. Santa Cecilia is the patroness of musicians because in the day of his wedding she was singing to God while musicians were playing instruments. Also, her relationship with music takes place because she played the lyre or some kind of roman arp when she was young.
